Sourdough Wheat Bread |
Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups sourdough starter
1/3 cup warm water -- (110 degrees)
1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 1/2 tablespoons white sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup whole-wheat flour
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
Add ingredients to bread pan in order suggested by your machine's
manufacturer. Select whole wheat setting.
This recipe yields a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
Comments: A whole wheat sourdough bread for the bread machine. The whole
wheat flour adds a nice flavor and texture to your basic sourdough bread.
