Potato Bread III
Ingredients:

1/2 cup diced peeled potato
1 cup water
1 1/2 cups applesauce
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups bread flour
1 package yeast

In small saucepan place diced potato in water. Bring to a boil. Cook
uncovered about 15 minutes or until potato is soft. Don't drain liquid.
Mash potato into liquid.

Measure potato and liquid. Add water or milk to make 1 1/4 cups. Place
all ingredients in the bread pan in the order recommended by your
machine's manufacturer. Process on the appropriate cycle.

This recipe yields a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
