Hot Cross Buns
Ingredients:


Cooking Directions:

1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup shortening
(i substituted applesauce)
1 tablespoon sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
3 cup flour
1 package yeast
(i used 1/2 tb. instant
active)
-----frosting-----
4 teaspoon milk
1 cup confectioners' sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla

Do on dough cycle letting rest for 15 mins after kneading.

Shape into rolls and let rise. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.

NOTE: If I remember right I think I used all the called for liquid. But
hold back a quarter cup of the water and add only if needed. Makes 18.
